Botaki Ba Afrika presents open mic jam session, an artistic platform made for young, local and emerging artist who are itching to showcase their visual art, music, poetry and performing arts. This initative aims to contribute to the community’s’ identity, through its pride and a sense of belonging which will enhance the quality of life for its people. The open mic jam session encourages the spirit of collaboration, and networking within the arts.

Open Mic Jam session will take place on the 22nd of August 2021 at 12pm, with a warm welcoming to artists and guests. The first performer will grace the stage with their artistic talents at 1pm going through the day,. This will include festivities such as live painting, poetry, live music performance and good vibrations. Artists that want to participate in the session must feel free to contact us on admin@botakibaafrika.org

Covid-19 protocols will be adhered to upon entry, everyone will be hand sanitized and required to wear a facial mask, that cover their nose and mouth, throughout the session. Artists and guests will be required to sign in upon their arrival, to keep track of the amount of people going in the premsis.

Artists from all boarders of Tshwane are welcome!
